Why Form 20 booth analysis decides campaigns

Data & Analytics

Data & Analytics · November 3, 2026

A constituency result is one number. A Form 20 is the booth-by-booth story behind it. Every polling station's votes for every candidate are listed, and that is where a campaign is really won or lost.

Strong, Swing and Weak booths

When every booth is tagged Strong, Swing or Weak, effort stops being spread evenly. Strong booths need only to be held. Swing booths get the most attention because a small push can flip them. Weak booths are studied to learn why, before deciding if the effort is worth it.

What booth data lets you do

  • Send workers, money and events to the booths where they change the result.
  • Spot a slipping booth early, instead of discovering it on counting day.
  • Compare several past elections to see which areas are moving, and in which direction.
At Rajmandal, Form 20 categorisation is part of the War Room module, so the booth picture sits next to live surveys, workers and alerts.

Data alone does not win. But a campaign that knows its booths makes better decisions every single day.
